About the Photographer

Lamar Green

My passion for photography began at a young age. Growing up in the San Francisco bay area California, I was inspired by my grandfather, who started a commercial printing shop. I was fascinated by the process of film development and got my first hands-on experience in a 5th-grade photography class, where we learned how to develop our own photos.

Nature has always played a big role in my life. I’ve spent years camping and backpacking through the stunning mountains and coastlines of Northern California, always seeking out unique perspectives and quiet beauty.

Today, I live on the California Delta, surrounded by abundant wildlife and unforgettable sunsets—endless inspiration for my work behind the lens.

I hope my photos bring you a sense of peace and transport you, even for a moment, to a calm and beautiful place.
